I don't know if it's related, but I've had massive problems printing across my network to an Ubuntu machine running as a print server. I had used it for a year or so running Edgy, then Feisty, then upgraded to Gutsy, and printing basically stopped. I could print from the server itself, but my machines across the network were not able to access the printers. I upgraded to Hardy thinking that there may be a fix, but it was no different. So I went back to Gutsy (no change) and when back to Feisty (still no change). Network printing would work just fine at first until I rebooted the server, and it would all stop.
Here's a link to my thread in the ubuntu forums discussing the issue. It's complete with CUPS error logs. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=781958 -- CUPS does not print to LPD printer https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/213081 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
