I had initially tried to install Ubuntu to my 2gb cruzer micro and it reached 15% and crashed, then I tried installing it to a 2 gb SD card and the same thing happened. So I decided to try it on my 40 GB HDD and allowed a 23 GB partition. The installation progressed to 66% then crashed.
