Thank you for your bug report. This appears to be an error in the translation of aptitude. It should say "[Y/n/q/?]" in the question and also "y" in the help for "Yes"/Si, because internally only "y" gets recognized. I'm assigning the bug to the ubuntu-l10n-pt-br team.
I've just made new translation suggestions on: https://translations.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/hardy/+source/aptitude/+pots/aptitude/pt_BR/243/+translate The bug is not present in upstream 0.4.11.2-1 (from Debian) and the version in Hardy, so it got in there through Rosetta/Lauchpad. What is strange though is, the line: "s: aceitar as mudanças propostas" It should say "y: " there - because this does not appear to get translated, but is hardcoded. ** Changed in: aptitude (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: aptitude (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Ubuntu Brazilian Portuguese Translators (ubuntu-l10n-pt-br) -- Aptitude fail on remove package https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/224215 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
