I'd started to have this problem with Ubuntu 7.10 and continue after that I upgrade to Ubuntu 8.04. It seems because some package that I've installed and even with a new Firefox Profile persist; only if I use the live CD the page display correctly. I attach a screenshot of my desktop so you can see that I watch. I send to you also a complete list of all programs that I have installed
