The same thing with Philips Semiconductors SAA7134/SAA7135HL Video Broadcast Decoder (rev 01) not only with Ubuntu kernels. On my Fedora 2.6.24, 2.6.25 tv card works but freezes system randomly. I think it is bug of saa7134 module.
