Same problem here, Hardy and OpenOffice 1:2.4.0-3ubuntu6. I am opening a document on a Samba share; the credentials are stored in my keyring and they work if I i.e. use Nautilus to open the share. OpenOffice though seems to ignore the keyring and I have to enter the credentials into OpenOffice manually. They work though; as soon as I have entered the credentials and the checkbox "store until end of session" is checked, I don't have to enter them again until I logout.
