Binary package hint: minicom
My appliances send some garbage (wrong port speed or whatever) during
one phase of bootup, which causes minicom to crash with the following
error message:
minicom: ../iconv/loop.c:430: internal_utf8_loop_single: Assertion
`inptr - bytebuf > (state->__count & 7)’ failed.
My locale is de_DE.UTF-8 and I work around this crash by running minicom
as "LANG=C minicom".
