Mario Limonciello: I now agree that this bug is fixed and that Hardy's bluez-gnome package (bluetooth-properties program) works correctly to detect the mouse initially, without any kludgy hard-coded config files. I have found another Bug #175743 that describes the problem I am having with reconnecting. Anyone who finds my comments in this bug should refer to that bug, because that is the correct bug for those comments.
