Public bug reported: How I came across this:
In the Nautilus file-manager, I accidentally deleted my 50gb ~/data folder (right-click-> Move to Deleted Items Folder). When I accessed the Trash and tried to restore this by dragging and dropping back into my home directory, it reported that I didn't have enough disk-space available, even though I was trying to restore this to the same location/partition. I had 14gb remaining in ~. I had to manually restore this folder by going to ~/.local/share/Trash/files/ and moving the folder back to ~. lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 8.04 Release: 8.04 Nautilus 2.22.2 ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Incorrect insufficient disk-space error when restoring from Trash. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/232378 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
