Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
ubuntu 8.04 i386 desktop CD fresh install In File Browser if the user drags a folder (the "box" in the path, see picture) into its own content, then it will make a copy of the folder in its own subfolder, thereby making an infinite recursion. It should detect and refuse the bad copy procedure. Currently it starts copying, until it hits some limit of the system (disk space, max path length etc.) and then reports an error. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- file browser copies folder into own subfolder recursively https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/232190 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
