Public bug reported: Binary package hint: initscripts
Just upgraded to edgy. The new UUID-based fstab seems to be causing me trouble. First, whereas my root (and Windows) partitions have stable UUIDs, the swap partition doesn't, so it fails to mount on reboot. Somewhat related I'm sure is the fact that hibernation doesn't work. When resuming, it both doesn't resume properly, and also leaves the swap partition without a valid signature (mkswap fixes.) ** Affects: sysvinit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- swap not being mounted on boot https://launchpad.net/bugs/66637 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
