Same here! Running Ubuntu 8.04 and gnome-netstatus-applet version 2.12.1-1ubuntu1 When I attempt to Configure my wireless card, wlan0, I get the following error: The interface does not exist Check that it is correctly typed and that it is correctly supported by your system. Wireless nic is working perfectly, showing packets being sent and everything... So of course I expect to be able to config my wireless nic.
