Fallen-Angel: The most important tenant of the SRU process is 'cause no
regressions in the current release'. The fact that this issue is a
regression from Gutsy to Hardy only makes it elegible for SRU scrutiny.
In this case, I cannot guarentee that disabling MSI for all cases won't
cause regressions. Disabling MSI will most certainly cause performance
regressions on already working platforms. I agree that some folks won't
use Ubuntu because of this, but I can't always satisfy everyone.

Sarah Hobbs: Without blowing smoke, I couldn't tell you if Intrepid will
fix this issue. Users can try the development Intrepid kernel from the
kernel-ppa at http://ppa.launchpad.net/kernel-ppa/ubuntu.
