It just started working for me. Like literally, *just*. I opened pidgin, and disabled every other account except my MSN one (which failed to connect, not surprisingly) to make looking at the log file easier
I then ran pidgin with --debug and captured the log to a file. To my surprise, it connected. Now, pidgin works normally even without debug and other accounts. Is it like this for everyone, or am I just lucky? Here's my successful log if you'd like it. ** Attachment added: "Pidgin --debug: A sucessful attempt at connecting to MSN" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/14566434/pidgin.log -- Pidgin tells me MSN server is unavailible https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/231224 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
