Just a comment on the previous bug: * The dct and dct2 functions where included, in the previous 7.10 Ubuntu version (octave2.1), in the octave-forge package.
* In this case (octave3.0 with Ubuntu 8.04) it seems that octave main package octave and octave-forge have been merged in one unique package. I have found a lot of image processing functions in the main octave3.0 package which where included in the octave-forge in the case of octave2.1 So, I assume that octave and octave-forge have been merged in one package....
