Just registered to chime in on this as well, as I couldn't find anything
similar on the forums.

I'm currently experiencing the same problem with my laptop. I'll leave
it sitting around for a few days, and finally notice that network-
manager has jumped to over 1 GB in VmSize and about 500-700 in VmRss.
Reboot solves the problem.

Kubuntu 8.04 Hardy, with KDE 3.5
network-manager 0.6.6-0ubuntu5

Dell Inspiron b130 with a broadcom4311 (dell 1390) chipset. On a
wireless connection using WPA encryption.
