[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ dpkg -l | grep gnucash
ii gnucash 1.8.12-6ubuntu3
           A personal finance tracking program
ii gnucash-common 1.8.12-6ubuntu3
           A personal finance tracking program

And I'm running Dapper, recently dist-upgraded.
I did verify, for the nth time to see that it was not under the menu.
How can I re-install it to test that it was not something in the
install?

Thanks for looking into this.
