Hi guys, HUGE apologies for the delay.. I must have missed all of these messages!
The output is available here: http://paste.ubuntu.com/11949/ Also note that I managed to get the driver working. The firmware appeared in the Restricted Drivers, but appeared as 'In Use', yet was unchecked. Upon checking the item, the tag changes to 'Needs Restart'. When shutting down, I noticed an error message in the part where the background is black, and white text appears on the screen (sorry, I don't know the correct term). In this error message, instructions direct you to a website (with a long url), giving you about 5 seconds to write it down. The website's instructions were quite difficult to decipher, but I managed to get it working. -- Wireless card firmware not available in Restricted Drivers https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/221602 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
