I believe I am seeing this issue in Hardy with high volume data copies from one sata hard drive to another or within the same drive. Using Nautilus to copy large amounts of data will result in Firefox, Synaptic, etc getting non-responsive and extremely sluggish. Keyboard input is very delayed. The file copy will complete properly and the system frees up and responds normally. I perform the identical test using cp and gnomevfs-copy and everything works fine. Other applications have normal response during those tests.
This is a fresh install of Hardy. I did not experience these delays while using Xubuntu on the same PC. -- Copying large files from Nokia 770 gets stuck https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/68306 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
