I have been using 8.04 for a while now, and the problem seems to be completely gone. Using the standard gnome system. When I was using 7.10 I tried rtorrent, and thats when I had the most problems with this. The thing that bugged me the most was that I could never get a descent logfile that could tell me what was wrong...
