Tried different options with xorg.conf, many times had to enter recovery mode
of ubuntu to reset my settings. Most suggestions were taken from googl'ing or
searching ubuntu forums.
Updated to the latest kernel pre-release available because I saw somewhere of
a bug with 965 and 8.04LTS kernel.

By accident, i put my laptop to sleep. When i booted up (with the s-video
cable in), alas I have a clone of my laptop at 1024x768 on my TV. Tried
extending the desktop in Screen Resolution, no luck.
Now i tried doing xrandr --output TV --off, it turns off the TV! Then i try
--auto at the end, and it doesnt turn it back on. Can only get it back on by
going to sleep and turning the laptop back on.

I spent many hours, I thought it was because I'm fairly a newbie to
linux and must be a configuration issue, but I am convinced theres a bug
somewhere or it is not supported out of the box.

Verified other bugs similar, but not exactly like the one i'm having.
