I marked this bug as a duplicate since it doesn't seem to matter whether
we're talking English, American, or Canadian, aspell-en goofs.

    $ for f in US GB CA; do echo proven | LC_MESSAGES=en_$f.UTF-8 aspell pipe;
done | sort | uniq -c
          3
          3 @(#) International Ispell Version 3.1.20 (but really Aspell 0.60.5)
          3 & proven 27 0: pr oven, pr-oven, prov en, prov-en, prove, proving,
prover, proved, proves, profane, prone, proverb, riven, Pren, Provence, pron,
prov, prevent, progeny, protean, protein, provers, Provo, Raven, preen, raven,
prover's
    $

And that other bug has already spotted the problem with `proven'.
