See also bug 148326. This time I had added a second stock "EDU". I did it by right-clicking on the now-invisible gray area to the right of the triangle, and choosing Properties. Clicking Add seemed to do nothing more than add a second instance of the one stock I had already entered, GOOG. By trial and error I found I could double-click the second instance of GOOG and rename it EDU. Invest then retrieved the prices for both GOOG and EDU, then crashed with AttributeError in update_position().
I'd suggest a more friendly UI, with a way to Add on the right-click menu instead of in the sub-window that opens after choosing Properties. The Add button should do something more than just select the word Add as it does now. Typing from the keyboard opens a tiny text window, and that would be useful if it would add what I've typed instead of just disappearing when I hit Enter. --Steve -- invest-applet crashed with AttributeError in update_position() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/192977 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
