Looks like the latest proposed update for evolution-data-server, 2.22.1.1-0ubuntu2, works beautifully. However, it does seem to need the matching evolution and evolution-common in order for it to work. Without it, it acts the same as my previous comments. It should also be noted, that I deleted the 'Evolution' file in .gnome2_private when testing it, so I cannot confirm whether or not it migrates the password(s) automatically.
