** Attachment added: "See what I'm talking about." http://launchpadlibrarian.net/14405381/ordering.png
** Description changed: I didn't know if it was a feature or just a bug, so I posted it on Brainstorm first. They pointed me here. The original Brainstorm idea is here: http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/idea/8056/ When there is a list in GNOME or some GTK+ program, if I press some item - in the top of the list, for example on "Size" in Nautilus with "list + at the top of the list, for example on "Size" in Nautilus with "list view", the list is sorted in a counter-intuitive way. "^" means, for some reason, more first, and "v" means less first. It should be the opposite! Now, all other desktop environments I've tried do it the way they, in my opinion, should, i.e. the other way. It includes Windows and KDE4. I don't know about OSX and KDE3, I would appreciate if someone enlightened me. 1) I'm using Ubuntu 8.08 amd64. 2) I don't know what package is involved. 3) I expect lists to be sorted according to the comparison-sign like mark in the header. 4) It sorts it backwards. -- Deceptive marker for list ordering in GNOME https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/228800 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
