Public bug reported: Running a clean install of Hardy Heron 8.04 with updates, my wireless card fails to be detected. The prism2_usb module loads without error, but initialization of the card fails during boot.
I have a Gateway Solo 1450 with an Actiontec Electronics, Inc. [hex] Prism2.5 802.11b Adapter. I have tried using ndiswrapper to use this card (which didn't work either), but I feel that using the prism2_usb driver has gotten me closer to actually getting it working. I am attaching output of the relevant commands. Thank you. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- prism2_usb failed to initialize Actiontec Prism2.5 802.11b adapter https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/228293 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
