Public bug reported:

Running a clean install of Hardy Heron 8.04 with updates, my wireless
card fails to be detected. The prism2_usb module loads without error,
but initialization of the card fails during boot.

I have a Gateway Solo 1450 with an Actiontec Electronics, Inc. [hex]
Prism2.5 802.11b Adapter.

I have tried using ndiswrapper to use this card (which didn't work
either), but I feel that using the prism2_usb driver has gotten me
closer to actually getting it working.

I am attaching output of the relevant commands.

Thank you.
