I have the same problem - actually had it in Gusty as well and never resolved it. Currently there is a forum http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=4907270#post4907270 And I have learned that the problem I experience is a LAG in the logout window... and if I leave and come back in a little while then the logout screen is up. Don't know if that's something - someone suggested a relationship with power management, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Anyway, confirming for Hardy Heron -desktop, i386 home built. Cheers,
