Travis Watkins : I confirm the bug cannot be reproduced when the
animations plugin is disabled. It only happens when animations is
enabled.

** Changed in: compiz (Ubuntu)
       Status: Incomplete => Confirmed

** Description changed:

I reproduced this bug multiple times on two computers (ATI/nvidia) and
it is caused by the little Bullets and Numbering toolbox in OpenOffice.

  Steps to reproduce :
- 1. Have compiz enabled with default "normal" or "extra" settings.
+ 1. Have compiz enabled with default "normal" or "extra" settings (animations
plugin must be enabled).
  2. Open the attached OpenOffice document and click on the text, the Bullets
and Numbering toolbox should appear.
  3. Open a Firefox window.
  4. Try to switch multiple times between OpenOffice and Firefox window.

Result : Graphical interface is now freeze and compiz is eating all the
CPU. It's still possible to open tty6 with Alt+SysRec+R and Ctrl+Alt+F6,
compiz and X does not seem to crash, I can't get any backtraces.
OpenOffice exit normally when the bug appears without any trace.

When reproduced with metacity, nothing freeze, but the Firefox window
needs to be clicked twice before it opens up (it seems to minimize
  instead to show).
