I've put a few notes to work around some issues with Matheamatica on Solaris. It is probable that most are not an issue on linux, but this issue is affecting Solaris too, as someone else pointed out.
http://www.g8wrb.org/mathematica/ I get the feeling mma is less well tested on Solaris than Windows/Linux, so it is perhaps not surprising there are more bugs on Solaris. One thing worth noting is that Matheamatica caches certain things, so if you crash it, the cache can be in an unstable state. -cleanstart tends to fix that. I dont use Mathematica on Linux myself, but found this page when searching to find a solution to this issue. -- Mathematica renders fonts incorrectly in Hardy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/197163 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
