Steve - I think somehow we are going to have to instrument and debug
this issue. Somebody with kernel development abilities is going to have
to get their hands on this hardware in order to figure out why the PCI
code is crashing.

In the meantime, there are a couple of other PCI options you could try,
e.g., nomsi and noacpi. I know its time consuming, but you can also play
with these parameters in combination, e.g., a comma separated list such
as pci=nobios,nomsi, etc.
