Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
Hi all, I'm using the new release: UBUNTU 8.04, 64 bits version. Sounds in my Toshiba Satellite A105-S4344 (Intel centrino duo) are working fine. I can play MP3 files. Youtube is working fine too (I have to click in the big "play" arrow instead to see the video start automatically). But in MySpace and other similar web sites, no sounds at all. is this a problem with Firefox? Do I need to install a different plug-in or package? Thank you very much in advance for your help ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 Date: Mon May 5 21:30:19 2008 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.04 Package: firefox-3.0 3.0~b5+nobinonly-0ubuntu3 PackageArchitecture: amd64 ProcEnviron: PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: firefox-3.0 Uname: Linux 2.6.24-16-generic x86_64 ** Affects: firefox-3.0 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug -- No sound in myspace - Using UBUNTU 8.04, 64 bits in Toshiba Satellite A105-s4344 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/227143 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
