Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
I am using Ubuntu 8.04 and I am having lots of problems with firefox. It freezes often and the screen becomes grayish. I saw some bug reports mentioning a similar problem which particularly occurs when accessing a page containing a flash video. In my case the problem occurs even when i am accessing pages with no flashvideos. I can not understand when and why it happens. Sometimes I am unable to type in the text boxes. Attached is the screen shot of my desktop when firefox freezed i had only synaptic and firefox opened at that time. Firefox becomes usable after a while but it is really very annoying and i would appreciate if someone could help me find a solution.
