Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mozilla-firefox
I installed flashplugin-nonfree, and about:plugins reports the correct version of the flash plugin (9.0.124). However, some pages (e.g. http://www.5min.com/) refuses to display flash content. Then I discovered that an old (9.0.31) version of the plugin was installed in both .firefox/plugins and .mozilla/plugins. When I removed that old version, everything works fine. My guess is that, although firefox reports the system-wide version of the plugins, it actually uses the personal version (which makes sense). That would then be a display bug in about:plugin. release: Hardy firefox: 3.0~b5+nobinonly-0ubuntu3 flashplugin-nonfree: 9.0.124.0ubuntu2 ** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Incorrect plugin version https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/226797 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
