Dave, I registered just to message you. I've also got a T61 with a FireGL5200, and the suspend/restore bug in compiz is what forced me to abandon my last bout with linux. Does your patch fix our problem? On behalf of all other lurkers on the 'net, thank you so much for putting your time into this!
