Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox
I like the fact that Firefox 3 tries to behave more like a native Gnome application but some of the form widgets are not as nice as they should be. I have included a screen shot and HTML file to show what I mean, but basically on some widgets the rounded corners from the GTK theme are not alpha blended so they appear white even when the background is a different colour. Also when a Select box has a size greater that 1, no theme is used to round the corners. When you click on a drop-down (select) box, I don't think the list is quite the same as GTK either but this is less important as it is only shown momentarily. Please see the attached screen shots to see which ones I have labelled correct and incorrect. I don't know how much of this problem is to do with the theme, but when trying it with Clearlooks instead of Human, the submit button is corrected but the other widget problems persist. ** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Firefox 3 doesn't display all GTK form widgets correctly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/226139 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
