This driver NEVER worked with some Via cards. With vesa you can get 1024x768 (And more), but you can't get 3D aceleration. Every ubuntus, some Debians, some openSuse, and a lots of Live cds use VESA in this cards (and others cards), and every of them start with 1024 x 768 (sometimes with 1600x1200).
I fixed this problem, but... How many new users can fix this problem?
