Hi, I'm experiencing the same behavior but with one (small) difference - I haven't managed to see *any* youtube video yet. Only the gray square. No signs of crashes in the logs, fresh kubuntu hardy install... Reloading doesn't help. Must note that the hardware is kinda old (850MHz laptop, 384MB ram), don't know if it could have anything to do with it.
