Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg
If you have no 'Identifier' in your 'ServerLayout' section in your xorg.conf file, then X starts garbled. However, if you remove the whole 'ServerLayout' section, then X starts all fine. Kind of strange that you don't need a ServerLayout section, but if you do have one, then it must contain an 'Identifier'. Make it so that if no Identifier is present in the ServerLayout section, it works anyways. ** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- X garbled if no Identifier present for ServerLayout https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/224964 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
