This is probably a vairation of
https://bugs.launchpad.net/wubi/+bug/210886. Unfortunately tracking
segfaults in NSIS (wubi) proved to be quite challenging. I was trying to
single out anything peculiar about your installation but the logs do
not offer much hint and it is not something I can reproduce myself. I
mark Ubuntu as invalid, because this bug is stricttly related to Wubi,
so there is no need to take time off other Ubuntu devs, it does not mean
of course that the bug is invalid per se', it is valid for Wubi.
