Option "ForceEnablePipeA" "boolean" Force the driver to leave pipe A enabled. May be necessary in configurations where the BIOS accesses pipe registers during display hotswitch or lid close, causing a crash. If you find that your platform needs this option, please file a bug against xf86-video-intel at http://bugs.freedesktop.org which includes the output of 'lspci -v' and 'lspci -vn'.
It's fine to just have that option without specifing the driver... as ubuntu 7.10 and 8.04 automatically uses the "intel" one ;) Now I think we all should do this: https://bugs.launchpad.net/debian/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/138256/comments/88 greets -- ubuntu 8.04 crashes during shutdown https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/208479 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
