gdm doesn't use tracker directory, the dialog uses gtk fileselector
widgets which have a search files entry in the sidebar, that feature is
using tracker when available, now when the dialog is create the widgets
are initialized, gtk uses libtracker to know if tracker is available and
somewhat it gets started, not sure if that's gtk using libtracker
wrongly or a libtracker bug though
