** Description changed: I have just installed the released version of Hardy Heron, after running the beta version for a few weeks(no problems, apart from Firefox, and my Emu 0404 sound card still doesn't work). On most occasions, pressing the shutdown button causes a hard lockup ie X becomes totally unresponsive and I have to use the power button to - switch the computer off. I don't know if there are any relevant log - files I can submit to help with this problem. Please advise. + switch the computer off.
