LCID Fire: Why are you trying to add ID3 tags to an Ogg (Vorbis) file ? ID3 is primarily meant for MP3 files (but can also be used with a few other formats) . Ogg does not support ID3 tags. AFAIK, appending or prepending tag-data to Ogg-files will actually corrupt them according to spec (breaks the container format) . Use vorbiscomment (from the vorbis-tools package) to tag Ogg audio files from the command line.
EyeD3 works great, it's one of the best ID3-tagging command line tools (in my experience). I'm going to add a wishlist bug to get it updated to the newest 0.6.15 version for Hardy. -- Removing comment crashes https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/184338 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
