Public bug reported: Binary package hint: update-manager
I just upgraded to 8.04 from 7.10 and I'm getting bombarded with requests from the new crash report utility to log my crashes to the Ubuntu website, so here I am. I notice that there are quite a few bugs that look very similar to this one, the only difference is they have different version numbers, so I guess I'll log this as a new bug and let someone more experienced decide if it's a duplicate of another bug or not. :) I upgraded using the 'Update Manager' update method over the Internet. -Jeremy ProblemType: Package Architecture: i386 Date: Sat Apr 26 21:23:32 2008 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.04 ErrorMessage: ErrorMessage: SystemError in cache.commit(): E:Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: update-manager 1:0.87.24 PackageArchitecture: all SourcePackage: update-manager Title: package update-manager 1:0.87.24 failed to install/upgrade: ErrorMessage: SystemError in cache.commit(): E:Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) Uname: Linux 2.6.24-16-generic i686 ** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-package -- package update-manager 1:0.87.24 failed to install/upgrade: ErrorMessage: SystemError in cache.commit(): E:Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/222878 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
