*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 195915 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/195915
Not a dupe, as far as I can tell. I am seeing the specific behavior described here re. the garbage bin applet in a fresh install of Hardy (not a beta, the release). Unlike the bug described in #195915, this one can't be worked around with killall gnome-panel; the garbage bin icons do not reappear. Killing the /usr/lib/gnome-applets/trashapplet process is also not enough to make the garbage bin reappear. Nor is killing /usr/lib/gnome- applets/trashapplet, telling it not to reload, and then restarting gnome-panel. If I find something less drastic than a reboot that *does* make the bin icon reappear on the panel, I will post it here - but I really don't think this is a dupe, especially since #195915 is marked Fixed and this one is still happening. -- trash icon disappears in panel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/211604 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
