Public bug reported:

When booting with kernel 2.6.24-16-generic mapping of HD does not make
sense as my 2 SATA HD's should be sda and sdb instead of sdb and sdc !

To reach an acceptable session I had to process like this :
- comment out all my sdb* partitions in "/etc/ftab",
- though fstab is set with sda partitions boot can be done but my session is
not as expected,
- if I open Qtparted it shows only sdb and sdc partitions (I have no other HD's
than SATA HD's) !

Everything works fine if I boot with kernel 2.6.22-14-generic ; then
partition mounted ara as set in fstb : sda and sdb.

This problem is obviously linked to a bug in this kernel combined with
"e2fsck".

Until a fix is proposed I still have to keep 2.6.22-14-generic as my
current kernel.

Regards.
