** Description changed: Binary package hint: firefox-3.0 Hi, I'd like to report this bug because it occurs since the last release. Before that, with Firefox 3b4, everything works fine. When I try to look on a website using long list (mailing list archive for example), the background become dark and when I scroll down to the end of the page, display is very strange and I can't see anything. See attached image (as soon as I pressed the PrintScreen key, the bug is less visible, but in real situation, you can imagine all the screen with lines drawn everywhere). I'm using Firefox 3b5 on Ubuntu 8.04 My graphic card is a Nvidia 7800 GTX (using Nvidia 169.12), but it also occurs with my laptop on a Nvidia 8400 GS. The problem occurs with metacity or compiz running either I don't know how to run Firefox in a debug mode so don't hesitate to tell me the procedure. + Website that I tried : http://lists.openmoko.org/pipermail/community/2008-April/date.html + http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8923 + EDIT : I just noticed that the bug occurs only when I'm scrolling down, if I'm using Page Down, it's fine, except the background remains dark. -- Strange display using Firefox 3b5 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/220807 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
