Have installed 8.04 latest patches (as of today) including kernel
2.6.24.x.
At startup starts with kernel 2.6.24-16-386 ends up with infinite messages
similar to:
[70.289928] init[1]: segfault at 05e82434 eip b7f9a6ca esp bfa5db0c error 6
First number between [] grows but the other stay the same.
If I start using kernel 2.6.15.51 works perfectly besides I cannot see
my sata drive formatted with NTFS.
HW is a Core duo with 2GB with 1 sata drive and a pata drive. Ubuntu boots from
pata.
Let me know what else you need and how to get it (commands). I'm not very smart
but getting coffee quickly.
