Public bug reported:
1) Ubuntu 8.04 on my amd64 HP Pavilion laptop
2) flash flashplugin-nonfree 9.0.124.0ubuntu2, linux 2.6.24.16.18
3) I expect pandora.com to play songs and not hang, even during power
manager mode changes
4) apps hang when there's a power management mode switch. I noticed
this when listening to pandora.com, and it would hang after 10 minutes
or so. I finally related this to the dynamic and powersave modes of
power manager. If I am in powersave mode, and the screen blanks, pandora
will hang (music stops, flash control part of the web page goes blank).
Sometimes it hangs not on the screen blank, but when a key is pressed
and the screen comes back on. Either way, the page with the flash
control needs to be refreshed in order to get it working again.
This didn't happen to me with Gutsy, only once I upgraded to Hardy a few
months ago.
