Public bug reported:

I have doubts if it isn't uplicate of #14079, but I think it isn't.

When I hibernate, sometimes it works perfectly, especially when machine
is just turned on, but sometimes it takes very very long time to
hibernate. About 10 minutes:

- I press hibernate in KDE or Gnome
- screen blanks
- nothing happends during long few minutes (it's very easy to think that it
hanged)
- I hear beep (like older PCs beeped when starting)
- another few minutes and finally power led stop lighting.

Resume works perfectly.

My hardware is HP Pavilion dv6780ew, nvidia binary drivers,
